Amy had a court date at Seward County on the 27th and she has been incarcerated for 6 months (4 months on good behavior). This was a shock to us all. We heard from her shortly after she was incarcerated. She is doing o.k. but is asking everyone to please pray that God would give her the strength to make it through. She did say that the one good thing about her being put in jail this time at Seward rather than the last time is that this time when she comes out she will be free forever from having this over her head there.

Also, we cannot overstate how important mail would be to her at this time: a letter, song, poem, thought ,any little thing would be such an encouragement to her.

Latest update on Amy:

The Seward County hearing, that was scheduled for Monday, May 12, has been rescheduled for May 27.

Amy’s lesser offence in Lincoln, has been taken care of with a small fine.

Amy’s larger offence in Lincoln has been rescheduled for September, in hopes that she will be able to earn and pay back as much of this debt before the hearing so that she will get a less strict punishment

Amy starts a new job next week with better hours (she will be able to attend church on Sunday now), and better pay.

Amy’s Dad is going through some health problems. He just had surgery for skin cancer. She requests prayer for him.

By the way, Amy has a new blog. She is in the process of writing out her story. Check it out:   tobefoundinhim.blogspot.com
